Before there was Wishi Washi Studio I shared a studio space with my talented friend and artist Victoria May in an old warehouse on the coast just north of Santa Cruz, CA.
There
was our studio, then the railroad tracks, then the brussel sprout
fields and the cows. On the other side of the cows was the ocean. So
beautiful. When I needed a break I would cross the railroad tracks and
visit the cows.
There was one white cow and I named her Ursula
She had a number of babies over the years
She cared for them, they grew up and moved on
Ursula was a good mom
There were other cows
They also had babies
And, sometimes they would romp around like puppies...really!
But, Ursula...
was my favorite.
